Herbivores and Carnivores

On Monday we talked a lot about "plant-eaters" and "meat-eaters". For one lesson, we did an experiment to see what it might look like inside different dinosaurs' stomachs. We put the contents into sandwich bags so the students could feel each 'stomach'. Some words the students used to describe the way they felt was "mushy, squishy, and chunky!"

Dinosaur Patterns

Today we talked about many features of dinosaurs including size, colour, length of tail and neck, plates and spikes, and the amount of legs different dinosaurs stand on. Here are some videos of patterns that students made using the dinosaurs.
